Parallel to our special exhibitions, you can always see a selection of important works by Ernst Barlach, all of which come from the museum's own collection. In addition to the important wooden sculpture group Frieze of the Listeners, created in the early 1930s, other wooden works and bronzes from all of the artist's creative phases are on display.
During the tour of the museum, our media guide Barlach on the move offers interesting facts about the main works in the collection, Ernst Barlach and the history of the Ernst Barlach House. Quick access is provided via a QR code, which can be scanned at the reception desk.
